New Zealand

Christopher Michael Prime Christopher Michael Prime

When I reflect on my life there are decisions that I thank my lucky stars I made. One of these decisions was to attend a career discovery workshop in 1999. You see I was despondent and unfulfilled with the hospitality industry I had worked in for 15 years, so I began a search for something better.

My life changing eureka moment came when I realised that whatever my career it had to involve helping people succeed, achieve their dreams and live to their fullest potential.

I discovered and completed the Results ICT Programme in 2002 and became the youngest Results’ certified coach in New Zealand. I am now in my seventh year of Coaching, four of which have been full time. It is said I have the ability to connect with people of all ages, race, status and backgrounds and I guess this is backed up by my wide and varied array of clients.

In the later part of 2006 I co-founded “The Secret Enterprise Ltd” and am in the process of establishing a Law of Attraction training (LOA) college in New Zealand that will provide education for all who wish to master LOA principles.

Our goal is to create a better planet by firstly helping Kiwis attain enlightened, abundant, prosperous and fuller lives.

Alan Wilson’s Develop Your Child (DYC) programmes fits perfectly into our vision. Teaching our children to use the LOA and to trust their inner knowing is a smart and simple way to change the fabric of our future for New Zealand. Involving parents to communicate connect and understand their children on a different level; a more emotional level is the key. When we change the way we see our children, they will develop a self worth and esteem which enables them to view the world in a whole new light. This is when magic happens - when young people and parents alike feel like they have been heard, valued and respected, a brand new world becomes alive. With a different approach, we can truly help them unleash their potential and to realise their magnificence. Move over Generation Y and Generation X, here comes Generation Vibe.

If you are ready, we invite you to join us on our journey to empower our planet to be all that it can be, by empowering our children and families to be all that they can be.

I was on a journey of self-discovery when I was introduced to coaching in 2002. I took an intensive coach training with Results Coaching Systems (Australia) and was certified in 2003. Coaching is similar to an educational course in the University of Life. It has been my life force in a journey that empowers me to help people to help themselves and build self-belief in myself and others. I went on to take many self-development courses including Anthony Robbins, Landmark, Universal Law, and Linda Chandler to name a few.

I realized that when your communication is not effective and your relationship is not working, your life is not working. Life Coaching definitely has an impact in a person's life. Therefore, when a family is in harmony, it has the ripple effect through society, organization and community. This, I found out through my personal experiences and by coaching working adults.

Since then, my clients are Human Resource Directors, Sale Managers, Trainers, consultant, Executives, Head of Department in schools, graduates & students. I deliver talks on Work-Life Balance in conferences, coaching for success in schools and organizations. Orden träffade mig rakt i maggropen.

Vill du själv bli coachad i din föräldraroll?

Deborah GreenDeborah Green

Deborah Green is a qualified personal life and family coach who provides a uniquely flexible, professional and personalised coaching experience in areas of Family, Young People, Personal and Business Coaching in an encouraging, supportive and safe environment which allows people to flourish.

I was first introduced to coaching about 7 years ago when I experienced a coaching workshop that my then employer rolled-out in the business. I had that "lightbulb" moment of realising that I had been practicising as a coach for most of my working life - I just hadn't realised that's what it was called! My background is that of Human Resources and Learning & Development and after being made redundant twice in quick succession I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a coach. I completed my qualification with an organisation in Scotland, New-U-Now Coaching, two years ago and last year I attained my Advanced Diploma in Coaching with the same organisation. I am also accreditted, via the Coaching Academy, to run both Youth and Parent Coaching workshops and I now own and run my own successful coaching and development business which allows me to have the quality time and work/life balance that I was always hankering after with my own family. I am also delighted to be an Associate Coach with Develop Your Child as this organisation truly represents the family and how important it is to our futures.

I really believe that coaching does unlock the potential in everyone and as a coach you get the priviledge to explore what that is in each individual in a very safe and non-judgemental environment. I have the ability to work in partnership with individuals, young people of all ages, families, teams or groups to encourage self-belief, personal awareness, self confidence, motivation and achievement of “wishes”. I know that you can achieve whatever you want - as I've done it and am continuing to do! ~ “wishing is just the beginning“. I am a truly passionate individual who is totally committed to empowering, inspiring and supporting people along their coaching journey and to be able to share my knowledge and skills so that others can enhance their own lives and make their wishes come true. Fantastic! I love working with young people, families and organisations that support young people to really capture the essence of the fact that families do matter! Genny Jones Genny Jones

Hi I'm Genny and my background is in accountancy and training. Whilst working in these areas I became interested in psychology and the way people tick. Most of the time when I visited clients or delivered a training session, it always ended up with me listening to the challenges people faced in life and supporting them in their experiences.

I trained with The Coaching Academy in 2003. Since then I have been coaching individuals to maximise their potential. I have also run some coaching courses on my own and for a number of organisations. I am passionate about helping individuals to be the best they can. I am passionate about working with children from an early age to help them to develop to be confident and be the best they can. I also enjoy working with parents to make the parenting journey enjoyable and to allow parents to also have time for themselves.

Linda BarnesLinda Barnes

I started my career in banking and following the birth of my two beautiful, amazing sons decided on a career change whereby I could spend all my time with these fabulous, intriguing creatures called ‘children’ and as a result trained to become a teacher. Throughout my 20 years of teaching I enjoyed the challenge of motivating children and instilling into them the ‘I can try’ and ‘I can do’ attitude, celebrating with them their achievements both large and small and watching them blossom as their self esteem grew and grew. This interest in motivating children first brought me into contact with ‘Educational Coaching’ and as a result I gained my first coaching qualification as a ‘Performance Coach.’

Dealing with children and their parents also gave me an interest in motivating adults to reach their full potential, many of whom confessed to me that they had really ‘bad experiences ‘when at school and as a result often felt inadequate to support their children and felt their own inner dreams and aspirations would always remain unfulfilled. I trained as a life coach and during the training I coached some of these parents with outstanding results which impacted not only on their own self esteem but on the mindset and ambitions of the other family members.

It was a natural progression to gravitate towards Family coaching instead of dealing with family members in isolation. So often I witnessed families who encountered huge difficulty in connecting and communicating with each other. Family coaching ensures everyone’s opinions are valued, everyone is equipped to tackle issues using known formats, which empowers each family member giving them ownership and the skills required to ensure sustainability and connecting and communicating becomes an everyday norm.

I think the quote by Joyce Maynard epitomises the hidden agenda within parenting, ‘It’s not only children who grow. Parents grow too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself.’

Understanding that parents are a child’s greatest role model is often the turning point in many families’ lives.
