By the end of this interactive, informative and enjoyable 3-day workshop, you'll have a good knowledge of family coaching and be able to use your skills, whilst being mentored, to create even better relationships within a family context. You may also experience personal transformation as you learn more about different ways of looking at life. You'll also have the chance to connect with like-minded people and share experiences and learning.
And once you've completed the certificate, you'll be able to:
- have confidence in your role as a parent and be able to enjoy your children
- use these skills as a mentor to others
- facilitate parent/family groups or work with voluntary organisations

This will be sent to you free once you've completed your course application. It will give you some useful background into our ideas, as well as starting you off on your journey of discovery about family coaching.

After the workshop
To receive your certificate, you must also complete some practice coaching sessions - it's the ideal opportunity to put all your learning to the test and to become more confident in using your skills.
Create lesson plans for and run at least 4 sessions (each 2 hours long) with a family/client group, which can be young people, parents or a family using your new found coaching skills. If required you can join our special group mentoring teleclasses to give you all the support you need. Your feedback will then be assessed by the Develop Your Child team.
