Rationale
To show how to bring the most powerful coaching techniques to your work, particularly if your work involves motivating young people and parents.

Description of target audience
Trainers interested in incorporating powerful coaching techniques into their work, they also need to be open to change.

Programme outline
The programme will look at the characteristics of individual trainers and through a series of techniques enable them to have a deeper understanding of their client's vulnerabilities and opportunities. Look at their own strengths in building rapport and enabling them to make significant contributions to their client's growth and development.

Overall aims
To empower the trainers in their role of developing the client's aims and development, leading to their own personal growth and the enjoyment of their role.

Programme
Each participative programme is designed specifically for each group of trainers. It utilises a wide range of exercises that will enable them to understand their client's challenges from a different perspective and how to support their clients and reinforce their successes.

A typical day would include:

Session 1 - empowering the trainer with a personal outcome. A look at life, emotional literacy and values to find some clarity, priority and establish a SMART goal

Session 2 - empowering the trainer with a work related outcome. Close consideration of the current role and relationships and
the trainers strengths and how to use those in the most effective way

Session 3 - building self worth, self-esteem and confidence in
their clients. Work with and apply various tools to help build confidence, self-esteem and motivation

Session 4 - enhancing rapport and communication skills. Understand the enormous power of the role and how to connect at a deeper level with clients and pass on those skills

Number of participants
Up to 12 trainers.

Method of assessment
A Rosenberg self-esteem scale will be used at the beginning and end of the programme, sessions will have self and peer reviews in addition to those by the coach.
