A coaching programme to empower parents, build self-esteem in children and enable them to connect and work together at a deeper level.
Rationale
To empower parents and increase self-esteem in their children, to enable them to create a different relationship with their children and develop this relationship within an ongoing coaching approach. Including tools for ongoing development.
This course is based on a powerful combination of successful programmes:
1) Cognitive development - building self-esteem and confidence that also enhanced test and assessment performances.
2) Personal empowerment - that has been incorporated in the Kent County Council training programme for foster carers.
3) Physical challenges - creating emotional breakthroughs as developed by Tony Robbins at his events so successfully, see www.tonyrobbins.com
4) Coaching - consolidating and focusing the success onto previously agreed outcomes, all managed by a professional coach.
Description of target audience
Parents and children open to doing something different.
Programme Outline
The course is divided into three parts:
1) Parents in a group - interactive training for empowerment and creating outcomes for the family. Children in a group - building self worth, self-esteem and confidence
2) Combine parents and children as one group at an outdoor education establishment to use the emotional breakthroughs experienced and coaching towards the parent's outcomes. The children's experiences are used to reinforce their self-esteem and confidence. All facilitated by the trainers and coach to create a new and different relationship between the parents and their children.
3) Follow up meetings to ensure outcomes agreed are followed through. A work book will be provided to engage the parent/carer/referrer and enable them to participate in the process.
